Ok, I surely don't want to exaggerate, perhaps
it was a little more than three days (how long
is a day when you are intensively programming?).
I would say about 30 hours plus a longer
informative reading into the Glide and RRedline
Docs some weeks ago... But don't be too picky(? sorry
for my 'best guess' English) about this...

Christer, sorry that I never mentioned your name
when I was speaking of the makers of BigRRed -
I am still very confused about it, and actually
I still don't know who is working on the wrapper,
or who has worked on it in the past....
Perhaps you could introduce me to this mystic
circle?

Regarding the sources: well, there must be still
some little flaws in the texture mapping part,
and the sources should either get documented
or I will have to explain many things (which I,
of course, will do anyway).
Usually I would say: I will work a little bit on
the sources, bring them in a nice & stable state,
and then will make them public.

However, if you (or somebody else) is really interested
in the 'raw stuff' in its current version, I will upload
the sources today or tomorrow - I don't think that
they are very difficult to read (should be still quite
logical and clear). There are just some little things to
be careful of, which I think should be dealt with in a
more formal way of discussion and merging:

o) My version is an offspring of BigRRed and the newest
version of BigRRed is an offspring of it (of course),
too. So any merge of these two different branches
will have to be made quite careful and planned
(at least I would welcome it)
o) At my parts of the source, I used 'my' conventions and
styles. So I didn't try to match the style of BigRRed.
I never thought that my parts would be incorporated
into BigRRed unchanged. I think every merge-process should
also be a process of correction, validation, a.s.o...
In the same respect, I freely changed chunks of Rendition
code (from Frame, Htri, etc...) to suit my current needs.
I hope you all will forgive me this freedom!
Maintaining a different style had also an advantage for me
which may be an advantage for the merge too: I could easily
identify which parts of code had be changed or added by
myself...
o) A small problem, but a problem though:
I am working with Borland C++ and its editor in a very
archaic tab setting mode (Having worked with Borland's compilers
for well over 10 years now, I never cared to change the mode)
As a result, as equally as I disliked the look of the BigRRed sources
because of its 'wrong' indentations, you may probably now dislike
the look of mine...
This is simple the result of my stupidity....
I will try to change this bad habit soon (although I am afraid I
will have to change all the many thousands of lines of C++ I have
written so far...?)

All in all I don't think that there should be too
many troubles. It's not that big (yet), anyway...
(It's only a very small, little crocodile, you know?)

Cheers,

marvin
